Naib Subedar from Tarn Taran makes supreme sacrifice

Tarn Taran: Pakistan Army on Sunday resorted to an unprovoked ceasefire violation on the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera Sector, District Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. Indian Army retaliated strongly to the enemy fire. In an incident, Naib Subedar Rajwinder Singh was critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries. Naib Subedar Rajwinder Singh was a brave, highly motivated, and sincere soldier. The nation will always remain indebted to him for his supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Sunday announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 50 lakh, along with a government job to a family member of Naib Subedar Rajwinder Singh of 1 Sikh Light Infantry unit.
