6.3 magnitude earthquake strikes Turkey-Syria border region

Turkey-Syria border earthquake: A magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck the Turkey-Syria border region on Monday, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The report came just hours after US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told Turkey that Washington would assist "for as long as it takes" following two weeks of devastating, deadly earthquakes in the same region.
