Two Telangana women killed as car falls into gorge in California, family seeks help to bring back mortal remains
Reportedly Meghana and Bhavana along with eight friends went on a trip and the car in which they were travelling fell into a gorge at a curve on the Alabama Hills road leading to their death.
PTC News Desk: Two women from Telangana were killed in a road accident in California, US while returning from a trip with friends. The victims have been identified as Pullakhandam Meghana Rani and Kadiyala Bhavana, both aged 24.
Both the victims were originally from Garla mandal in Mahabubabad district and recently completed their Masters degree and were seeking employment. According to the family, the two women were close friends and were residing together.

Meghana’s father Nageshwara Rao runs a Mee-Seva centre at Garla while Bhavana’s father is the deputy sarpanch of Mulkanoor village. The sudden deaths of both Bhavana and Meghana has sent shockwaves across the community.
Local authorities in the US have launched investigation into the accident.
Meanwhile family has initiated efforts to bring mortal remains back to India.
