Youth Tortured: Patiala police registers FIR against Sanaur ASI Two days after an ASI allegedly tortured six youths at Sanaur, the Patiala police on Wednesday registered an FIR against the ASI and ordered a departmental inquiry against the SHO concerned, here on Wednesday. “We have registered a case against the ASI for torturing the youths,” said SSP Mandeep Singh Sidhu. A case has been registered at Sanaur police station, where the youths were tortured. A case has been registered under section U/S 323, 342 of the IPC, as per official reports. Earlier on Wednesday, Congress leader Preneet Kaur met one of the victims in the hospital and asked the administration to ensure exemplary punishment to the guilty cops. -PTC News
