Prominent among others who were present on the occasion were Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal, former Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, senior leaders Bikram Singh Majithia, Gulzar Singh Ranike, Vir Singh Lopoke, Shiromani Gurdwara Committee President Bibi Jagir Kaur, her predecessor Gobind Singh Longowal and entire Akali leadership.
