CBSE announces tentative dates for Class 12 optional exam, disputes redressal panel formed
The optional exams for the students who are not happy with their results would be conducted somewhere between August 15 to September 15, 2021.

CBSE mentioned that the disputes regarding the results will be referred to a committee constituted by the board.
The students not satisfied with their results can do online registration for CBSE optional exam 2021.

The optional exam dates shared above are tentative. It depends on the coronavirus situation at that point in time.
Also, the marks obtained by an aspirant in the optional exam would be treated as final for those who will opt for this exam.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court will consider the following points:
- If a student wants to appear for the exam it should be made clear at inception.
- Evaluation Criteria of CBSE and ICSE should be the same.
- The results of both the boards should be announced together.
- ICSE froze the data which hasn’t been done by CBSE.
The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing till tomorrow, June 22, 2021. Now, the apex court would further decide on the pleas challenging the decision of CBSE and CISCE to cancel the physical exams for Class 12 students.
