CNG, PNG price up again in Delhi; check revised rates
New Delhi, April 14: Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has increased the prices of compressed natural gas (CNG) and domestic piped natural gas (PNG) by Rs 2.5 per kg and Rs 4.25 per standard cubic meter (SCM), respectively in Delhi and adjoining cities on Thursday.
The revised rates are effective from Thursday to partially cover the hike in input gas cost.
With a total increase of Rs 15 per kg since March, CNG now costs Rs 71.61 per kg in Delhi.
Revised CNG rates:
In Delhi, CNG is now retailing at Rs 71.61 per kg, while in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad people have to shell out Rs 74.17 for CNG.
The price of CNG in Muzaffarnagar, Meerut and Shamli is Rs 78.84/ per kg; in Gurugram, the price is Rs 79.94 per kg; in Rewari, CNG costs Rs 82.07 per kg; and in Karnal and Kaithal, the price is Rs 80.27 per kg.

In Kanpur, Hamirpur and Fatehpur, CNG now costs Rs 83.40 per kg, while in Ajmer, Pali and Rajsamand, the price is Rs 81.88 per kg.
Revised PNG rates:
With effect from 6 am on April 14, PNG will cost Rs 45.86 per unit in Delhi and Rs 45.96 per unit in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad. While people in Gurugram will have to shell out Rs 44.06 per SCM.
Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) retails CNG and piped cooking gas in the national capital and adjoining cities.
Meanwhile, following a Rs 10 increase in the price of petrol and diesel during the last 16 days, the fuel rates have remained unchanged for the last week.
Petrol in the national capital has exceeded Rs 105, while it has surpassed Rs 120 in Mumbai.
