While Bittu was being opposed, a chaos was created on the Singhu border. He was accompanied by MLA Kulbir Zira on the borders. In addition, his turban was removed during the attack. Initially, he was stopped to enter the protest by youth saying that farmers do not need political leaders present at the protest but Ravneet Singh Bittu ignored the continuous warning and walked ahead. The youth also said slogans against Ravneet Singh Bittu, saying, 'Go back!'
