Mumbai, February 23: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday arrested NCP leader and Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik in connection with Dawood Ibrahim money laundering case. Earlier, facing fresh grilling on Wednesday, Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik was probed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the money laundering case for six hours. The ED had summoned the minister in the morning and brought him to its office. Last week, the ED had conducted raids at the residence of Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar in Mumbai in connection with the money laundering case. The ED had also conducted searches at 10 different locations related to Haseena Parkar in Nagpada. The agency had also questioned Dawood's nephew and Parkar's son Alishah Parkar and Chota Shakeel's henchman, Salim Qureshi, aka Salim Fruits. ED arrests NCP leader Nawab Malik in money laundering case linked to Dawood Ibrahim Meanwhile, Maharashtra NCP chief and state minister Jayant Patil said party colleague Nawab Malik was taken to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office without prior information, adding that the BJP was taking revenge from him for 'exposing' its leaders. "Nawab Malik has been taken to the ED office for questioning, without any prior information. He had exposed BJP leaders in the past few days, so revenge is being taken now," said Patil while talking to the media.
