AP Dhillon's Coachella guitar break sparks more trolling; Fans contrast Sidhu Moosewala's respect...

PTC News Desk: AP Dhillon faced backlash after breaking his guitar on stage during his performance at the renowned Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Despite being one of the biggest music events globally, his act garnered attention for the wrong reasons.

In response to the criticism, Dhillon took to Instagram with what some deemed a 'cringe' post, attempting to justify his actions by blaming the 'controlled media'. However, this explanation only fueled more trolling and negative reactions on social media.

AP Dhillon's Statement

Accompanied by a collection of candid stage snapshots, including one captured just moments before he smashed his guitar, AP Dhillon captioned his Instagram post with, "The media is controlled, and I'm out of control."

Responses to AP Dhillon's latest post

AP Dhillon's tribute to the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala during his Coachella 2024 performance stirred varied reactions from fans and followers.

One commenter expressed, "But Sidhu Moosewala would have also respected the musical instruments, being an artist, if he was here to see this. So before making loose statements like ‘media is controlled,’ you better learn some good manners and values, buddy. God bless." Another individual remarked in the comments section, "What a cringe caption lol."

Additionally, a fan weighed in, stating, "You’re justifying wrong things, brother. Are you even remembering your culture of how we treat musical instruments? That guitar was the one you held for your show and it produced the vibration you wanted. After that destroying it was the coolest thing?

This is an act of a fool. A true musician loves his instruments more than music. Show some respect, accept it, and apologise to yourself, not to us. All we can see is your graph going down. If music gave you fame, at least learn to respect it."
