Cocktail 2: Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna turn up the heat with ‘Jab Talak’ first look
Bollywood is buzzing with excitement as Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna come together for the very first time and fans couldn’t be more thrilled. The trio is set to light up the screen in Cocktail 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the beloved film that originally starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty.
The makers recently amped up the hype by dropping the first track from the film, Jab Talak, and it’s already setting the internet on fire.
The song kicks off with a bold statement "Summer just got hotter" and it absolutely delivers on that promise. Bursting with vibrant energy, colorful visuals, and a carefree vibe, the song offers a glimpse into the quirky, fun-loving characters that define this new-age tale of love and friendship. Well, one this is clear, that Cocktail 2 is not just about romance it’s about chaos, chemistry, and a whole lot of madness.
Adding to the magic, Jab Talak is sung by Arijit Singh alongside the fresh energy of Akasa. The track is composed by hitmaker Pritam, with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya making it a musical treat that’s hard to resist.
Moreover, the song carries a nostalgic touch, reminding fans of the iconic 'Tum Hi Ho Bandhu' from the original Cocktail. From similar settings to the same breezy party vibe, it feels like a modern callback that blends familiarity with freshness.
Directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Cocktail 2 is written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain. The film promises a rollercoaster of emotions wrapped in humor and glamour, and is all set to hit cinemas on June 19, 2026.
While Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon previously shared screen space in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, this film marks Shahid’s first-ever collaboration with Rashmika Mandanna making it all the more exciting for fans eager to see this new on-screen dynamic.
