PTC Web Desk: Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has given fans a rare look into his everyday life off the stage, stepping away from concert lights to walk viewers through the contents of his travel bag for Vogue's popular video series "In The Bag." The clip mixes humour with unexpectedly personal moments, offering a window into the star's spiritual practices, cultural roots and daily routine.

Diljit Dosanjh opened the segment on a light note, jokingly apologising for his English and asking viewers to bear with him. What followed was a mix of items that together paint a picture of a performer who stays grounded even while living out of a suitcase on tour.

Sacred Gutka Sahib and 'sallai'

Among the most meaningful items in his bag is a Gutka Sahib, with which Diljit has travelled for years without fail. Alongside it sits a traditional sallai, a slim tool he uses to keep his turban neatly tied and styled while on the road.

He also pulled out a rudraksha mala studded with crystals, explaining that a fan had gifted it to him after a live show. The singer said the necklace has since become one of his most treasured possessions.

Wellness habits and a luxury splurge

Talking about his health routine, Diljit shared a practice he swears by: applying a mixture of neem and mustard oil to his navel before going to bed each night. He added that coconut oil or homemade ghee can work just as well for the same purpose, describing navel care as an important but often overlooked part of daily wellness.

The video also showed off a striking indulgence, a designer duffel bag from the brand Satoshi Nakamoto, which Diljit picked up during a recent tour stop. The studded, luxury piece reportedly costs around $3,632, or roughly Rs 3.45 lakh.

Everything else packed in

Rounding out his travel essentials, Diljit's bag included a laptop holding his music and work files, a stash of makhana (fox nuts) as a healthy snack, and a portable coffee frother for his caffeine fix on the go. He also carried a pair of earrings gifted by fans.

In a candid moment, the singer revealed he has lived with gallbladder stones since 2015 and has yet to undergo surgery for the condition, which is why he keeps medication for it close at hand while travelling.

For the shoot, Diljit wore a cropped jacket from Chanel's Spring/Summer 2026 collection, designed by Matthieu Blazy, paired with a white T-shirt, black trousers and his signature orange turban — completing a look that was both relaxed and unmistakably his own.
