Mumbai, February 12: Bollywood enthusiasts rejoice! Charming Preity Zinta is making a comeback on the big screen alongside Sunny Deol in director Rajkumar Santoshi's upcoming film 'Lahore 1947'.
The announcement was officially made by Rajkumar Santoshi in a statement where he expressed his excitement about casting Preity Zinta, describing her as an extremely talented and natural actress. The director highlighted Preity Zinta's ability to fully invest herself in any character, making it a perfect fit for her.
Rajkumar Santoshi also mentioned the audience's fondness for the on-screen pairing of Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta. The duo has shared the screen in popular films like 'The Hero: Love Story of a Spy', 'Farz', and 'Bhaiaji Superhit'.
Produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, 'Lahore 1947' marks the collaboration of Sunny Deol, Rajkumar Santoshi, and Aamir Khan. Notably, this project is the 17th production under Aamir Khan Productions.
This film serves as a reunion for Preity Zinta and Sunny Deol after a considerable gap. Their last collaborations include 'The Hero: Love Story of a Spy', 'Farz', and 'Bhaiaji Superhit'.
