Sonakshi Sinha wedding: Sonakshi Sinha is all set to marry her boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal on June 23. Her father, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha, recently responded to the wedding news, choosing neither to confirm nor deny the reports. He expressed his happiness at the prospect of his daughter's marriage and assured that she always has his blessings.
As per an interview published in 'The Times of India', Shatrughan Sinha said, "I am neither confirming nor denying her wedding news. Time will tell. She will always have my blessings."
He said if his daughter was indeed getting married, he would fully support her decision. "Sonakshi is the apple of my eye. She is my only daughter and very close to me. I am a proud father because, over the years, she has also grown as an actor. From Lootere to Dahaad to now Heeramandi, she has proved to be a fantastic actor. If my daughter is getting married, I will give her my blessings and support her decision and choice. Sonakshi has the right to choose her companion, and I will be the happiest father on her wedding day. I will always wish her the best... ek hi toh beti hai meri (I just have one daughter)."
According to reports, invitations have been sent out to close friends and family members, including the entire cast of 'Heeramandi'. The wedding invite is designed like a magazine cover with the text saying, "The rumours are true." The celebrations will take place at Bastian in Mumbai.
