Farmers Protest: Following the ‘Dilli Chalo’ agitation, the farmers’ organisations have decided not to go to Delhi and stage protests against the farm laws 2020 at the Singhu border only.
The Singhu border in Delhi is now a battlefield for all farmers as they are going to raise their voices by staying there and blocking the roads.
Meanwhile, the farmer’s organisations, during the meeting, appealed to the youngsters to control the emotions.
Earlier in the day, the BKU-Bharti Kisan Union Ekta Ugrahan leader Joginder Singh Ugrahan announced that they will not go to Burari maidan, allocated by Delhi police to protest against the farm laws 2020.
The farmers continued their protest against the controversial farm laws 2020 at the Singhu and Tikri borders on Friday night. Meanwhile, the BKU leader Joginder Singh Ugrahan announced that its organization will protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.
The Central government on Friday allowed them to enter Delhi and asked them to protest at Burari maidan in Delhi.
The farmers headed towards Delhi from Punjab, Haryana and other states breaking barricades, facing water cannons and tear gas shells.
The police had placed several hurdles in the way of farmers who were heading towards the national capital as a part of their Dilli Chalo agitation.
