Gunman Kills 5 In California Before Shooting Himself, Say Police An unidentified Gunman shot and killed 5 people in a series of shooting in Southern California before taking his own life on Wednesday. The man killed his wife and a man at a trucking company in Bakersfield, California. He then chases another man from the trucking company before shooting and killing him in front of a nearby sports store. After that, Gunman killed two men at a residence and then commandeered a vehicle from a woman and her child before he killed himself when he was confronted by a sheriff's deputy. Authorities were working to determine as to why this started and why so many players were involved and the connection because obviously these are not random shootings. Authorities did not disclose the identities of the victims.
