Joe Biden, Kamala Harris named TIME's ‘2020 Person of the Year’
The publication has named the Democratic leaders for its annual prestigious honour, choosing them over other finalists; Frontline Health Care Workers and Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Dr Anthony Fauci, the Movement for Racial Justice and US President Donald Trump.
The TIME magazine stated, “For changing the American story, for showing that the forces of empathy are greater than the furies of division, for sharing a vision of healing in a grieving world, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are TIME's 2020 Person of the Year,”.
