Mohali: One dead as overspeeding car rams into a motorcycle

Mohali Road Accident: One man killed after a speeding car rammed into a motorcycle on airport road in Mohali on Friday afternoon. The motorcyclist has been identified as Baljit Singh, a resident of Morinda, 25 km from Mohali. He was immediately rushed to a nearby civil hospital, where he was declared dead. Meanwhile, the driver of the Chevrolet Cruze car has been identified as Gagan. He has also sustained multiple fractures and has been admitted to a hospital in Chandigarh. According to the information, the overspeeding car was being driven at such a speed that it hit a median of the eight-lane road. The car, then, flew into the air and landed on the opposite side. However, the car hit the motorcyclist Baljeet and a truck before coming to a halt near the TDI city in Mohali. Meanwhile, it has been reported that the car driver Gagan was traveling to Mohali from Kharar, while the motorcyclist and truck driver were coming from the opposite direction. Likewise, the truck driver has been identified as Purshotum Dass.
