Delhi AIIMS: Fire breaks out at AIIMS's endoscopy room, patients safely evacuated
New Delhi, August 7: A fire broke out in the endoscopy room of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi at around 12 noon on Monday, causing panic among hospital staff and officials. However, all individuals present in the vicinity were successfully evacuated, as confirmed by officials.

Upon noticing the smoke, the hospital staff immediately raised an alarm and contacted the Delhi Fire Services department for assistance. A team of fire tenders promptly arrived at the scene and initiated operations to control the situation. At present, more than six fire tenders are actively addressing the fire, as reported by Delhi Fire Service officials.
