Exit Poll 2024 LIVE: Thank you for joining us as we cover the much anticipated exit poll results for the Lok Sabha Elections of 2024 live on our blog! The ban imposed by the Election Commission since April 19, 2024, on the publication of exit polls will end at 6:30 p.m. today.

After that, a number of media outlets will expeditiously make public the results of their exit polls, providing a preliminary look at how this crucial election may turn out. Surveys done with voters right after they depart polling places are known as exit polls. Prior to the release of official results, these surveys try to forecast the result of an election.

The Congress on Friday announced its decision not to participate in any Lok Sabha exit poll debates on television channels. Congress spokesperson and media department chairperson Pawan Khera said the voters have cast their votes and their verdict has been secured, adding that the party doesn't “see any reason to indulge in speculation and slugfest for TRP.”

The decision of the Congress, according to BJP president J P Nadda, is a "unequivocal confirmation" that the opposition party has conceded the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Nadda wrote on X that voters should not waste their votes in the seventh and final round of polling on Saturday, stating that the Congress usually withdraws when it does not expect positive outcomes but will not hesitate to show up if it believes it has even a remote possibility of winning.

On Saturday, however, the Congress party declared that all Indian parties would take part in the results of the exit poll.
