Chandrayaan-3 Moon Landing HIGHLIGHTS: Today, India's Chandrayaan-3 is poised to achieve a significant milestone by attempting a lunar landing at the moon's south pole. If successful, this endeavour will position India as the fourth nation to accomplish the intricate feat of soft lunar landing, following the footsteps of the United States, China, and the former Soviet Union.
Critical to the mission's triumph, experts emphasize that the conclusive 15 to 20 minutes will determine the fate of the endeavour. During this pivotal period, Chandrayaan-3's Vikram lander, accompanied by the Pragyan rover, will undertake its delicate touchdown on the lunar surface.
The live coverage of this remarkable event will be accessible through various channels, including the ISRO website, its YouTube channel, Facebook, and the national broadcaster DD National TV, commencing from 5:27 PM.
Launched from India's primary spaceport in Andhra Pradesh on July 14, the Chandrayaan-3 mission marks a significant step in the nation's space exploration journey.
