Helicopter with 4 onboard crashes amid heavy rainfall in Pune; captain injured
Pune helicopter crash: Strong winds and severe weather caused a helicopter to crash in Pune on Saturday. The helicopter was carrying four passengers, including the captain.
The AW 139 helicopter took off from Juhu in Mumbai and was headed to Hyderabad when it crashed in the Paud area. According to initial information, no casualties have been reported.
The captain, Anand, was injured in the incident and has been brought to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Deer Bhatia, Amardeep Singh, and SP Ram were the other three people on abord.
The helicopter was operated by Global Vectra Helicorp.
