Man dies after brutal sword attack by minor on busy Mumbai road
PTC News Desk: In Shivaji Nagar, a neighbourhood of Mumbai, a man was violently attacked with a sword by a small boy, resulting in his death. A graphic video of the incident, which shows the victim being repeatedly struck by the sword while lying in a pool of blood, has gone popular on social media.
The video demonstrates that nobody stepped in to help, even though there were many onlookers. Ahmed Pathan has been identified as the dead. Five people are the targets of a case that has been filed. Four suspects—including a woman—have been taken into custody thus far.
August 8 is when the incident took place. Pathan was waylaid by three or four persons, one of them a small youngster, when he was standing on a Shivaji Nagar road. The child then began viciously assaulting Pathan with the blade and threatening anyone who might try to assist him. Pathan lay on the ground, lifeless, as the child attacked him again.
According to the police, there was a heated dispute and brawl between the deceased and the accused approximately two weeks ago. According to authorities, Pathan has criminal cases filed against him.
Locals, however, have charged police of negligence and questioned how they were not made aware of the horrific event that occurred during the day.
Three persons were detained earlier this month in Thane's Rabodi neighbourhood on suspicion of savagely beating a forty-year-old man with a knife and sword over a previous dispute. Locals became terrified after the tragedy, and business owners closed. Wasim Qureshi, the victim, had wounds to his hand, face, and chest.
