NEET aspirant dies under mysterious circumstances in Himachal's Hamirpur; probe on
PTC News Desk: A student at a coaching institute in Hamirpur died mysteriously after falling from the third floor of the building where he stayed, police said Monday.
The incident reportedly took place on Sunday night.
The student was from Bilaspur's Hatwar area and was preparing for NEET for admission to undergraduate medical programmes at a coaching institute in Hamirpur.
Police said it is unclear whether the death was a sui.cide, an accident, or some foul play.
According to Hamirpur Superintendent of Police Bhagat Singh Thakur, the police have taken charge of the body and have filed a case. Further investigations are underway.
The student's parents have claimed foul play and demanded a thorough investigation.
