PM Modi spots man feeling unwell in crowd near Delhi airport, asks medics to provide aid
New Delhi, August 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was greeted warmly at the Delhi Airport on Saturday and said he received many congratulations messages during the BRICS Summit about the success of Chandrayaan-3, noting that the location on the moon where 'Vikam' landed has been called 'Shiv Shakti'.
The Prime Minister, who was addressing a gathering after arriving in Bengaluru from South Africa and Greece, stopped his speech to check on a person who was not feeling well and asked his team of doctors to check and provide aid.
The person apparently collapsed as a result of the heat.
The Prime Minister instructed the medical staff to take the individual out while holding his hands and removing his shoes.
When PM Modi noticed the person who was feeling ill, he was discussing Delhi's hosting of the G20 Summit next month.
Later, the Prime Minister resumed his address.
“I went to attend BRICS in South Africa...I got a lot of congratulatory messages during BRICS for Chandrayaan-3. The whole world has sent congratulatory messages,” PM Modi added.
"The point where Chandrayaan-3 landed, that point was named as 'Shiv Shakti'. Shiv ki baat hoti hein toh Shubham hota he aur Shakti ki baat hoti hein toh mere desh ke Nari Shakti ki baat hoti he'...Chandrayaan-2 point was named as 'Tiranga'," he further said.
PM Modi was met at the airport by BJP chief JP Nadda and other party workers.
The Prime Minister also greeted the crowd that had assembled outside Palam Technical Airport to greet him.
