Preparations underway for Ram Mandir, AI-powered CCTV cameras installed

Preparations underway for Ram Mandir: Amid the festive air in Ayodhya and the euphoria around the consecration of the grand Ram Temple on January 22, rapid preparation is underway to make Ayodhya city as an international religious tourism city.  

Ahead of the seven day long consecration ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla at the Ram Janmobhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya,  artificial intelligence-powered CCTV cameras have been installed in areas around the temple as a large number of visitors are expected to attend the ceremony.

The CCTVs have been installed in the whole district and areas around the Ram Temple and tent cities. 
The preparations are in full swing so that no pilgrim or devotees face any kind of inconvenience on the inauguration day of Ram Mandir. 


Ram Mandir Inauguration Schedule 

  • The consecration ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla at the Ram Janmobhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya will be held over a span of seven days starting from January 16 to January 22, 2024.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple on January 22. The event has garnered significant attention, with several VVIP guests from India and abroad receiving invitations to participate in the auspicious occasion in Ayodhya.

  • A priest from Varanasi, Lakshmi Kant Dixit, will perform the main rituals of the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla on January 22.From January 14 to January 22, Ayodhya will mark the Amrit Mahotsa
  • A 1008 Hundi Mahayagya will also be organised, in which thousands of devotees will be fed. 
  • Several tent cities are being erected in Ayodhya to accommodate thousands of devotees, who are expected to arrive in the temple town of Uttar Pradesh for the grand consecration.

  • Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust plans to accommodate 10,000-15,000 individuals

  • Preparations are underway for the anticipated surge in visitors around the grand ceremony 
  • Implementation of enhanced security measures and logistical arrangements is also underway
