Airlines bomb threat | Following the bomb threats via emails to over 150 Delhi school’s, airport, the The Ministry of Home Affairs, led by Home Minister Amit Shah, two Delhi University colleges received bomb threats which later turned out to be bogus, now a Vistara flight bound for Srinagar, carrying 177 passengers and one infant received a bomb threat on Friday. 

Flight no-UK-611, which departed from Delhi, landed safely at Srinagar Airport at approximately 12:10 AM.


Following standard protocol for such threats, the aircraft was immediately directed to an isolation bay upon landing.

An airport official said, “All passengers were safely de-boarded at the isolation bay. Currently, the aircraft is undergoing a thorough security check by the relevant authorities to ensure the safety of all concerned."

Despite the disruption, all passengers are confirmed to be safe, and the situation is being managed with the highest priority to ensure their security. More information will be shared as it becomes available.

Authorities are investigating the origin of the bomb threat and are implementing all necessary measures to ensure the ongoing safety of air travel.
