Thane woman assaults boyfriend's private parts after marriage refusal, says police

PTC News Desk: A 26-year-old woman in Thane, Maharashtra, has been accused of violently attacking her boyfriend with a knife after he refused to marry her. According to police reports, the incident took place on August 16 in the Padma Nagar area of Bhiwandi.

The woman allegedly used a kitchen knife to assault her 31-year-old boyfriend, inflicting severe injuries to his private parts. Following the attack, the victim fled from the woman's house and sought medical treatment at a nearby hospital.


After receiving medical care, the man filed a police complaint, which led to the registration of a case under Section 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which pertains to voluntarily causing hurt or grievous hurt by dangerous weapons or means.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case, and the investigation is ongoing, according to the police.
