PTC Web Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday rallied in Punjab's Dinanagar, making a fervent appeal for votes in support of candidates from Gurdaspur, Amritsar and Hoshiarpur constituencies.

Taking a pointed dig at Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, PM Modi said his allegiance lies with jailed people. He (Bhagwant Mann) was incapable of taking any decision. Without directly naming Arvind Kejriwal, PM Modi said he (Bhagwant Mann) especially goes to Tihar Jail to take further commands".  The Prime Minister further criticised Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of besmirching India's reputation abroad and questioning the construction of the Ram Mandir, reminding the audience that a Sikh was at the forefront of the temple's cause.

In his address, PM Modi lambasted the opposition alliance, accusing them of spreading baseless fear about Pakistan's nuclear capabilities while themselves trembling in trepidation. He urged the people of Punjab to repose their faith in the BJP, promising to diligently work towards realising their aspirations over the next five years. Drawing parallels to Captain Amarinder Singh's ouster as Punjab CM, PM Modi warned of potential repercussions in Delhi if a similar disregard for the authority were exhibited.

PM Modi also criticised the Opposition for their propensity for deceiving the public and resorting to vitriolic attacks against each other in Punjab. At the same time, he lauded Punjab's significant contributions to national security, culture and development. He also paid homage to the late BJP stalwart Vinod Khanna for his dedicated service to Gurdaspur.

Accompanying PM Modi on the stage were BJP candidates Dinesh Babbu and former Punjab BJP chief Ashwani Sharma.

Throughout his address, PM Narendra Modi reiterated his government's commitment to serving the people of Punjab and upholding their interests on the national stage. He stressed the importance of unity and stability in the face of divisive forces, urging voters to make an informed decision in the upcoming elections.
