Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi likely to participate in Congress Padayatra in Uttarakhand
Congress Padayatra in Uttarakhand: A high-level meeting of Congress leaders was held at the headquarters of the Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) to discuss preparations for the proposed padayatra in the state.
According to party sources, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will take part in the proposed Congress padayatra in Uttarakhand.
Devendra Yadav, in charge of the Uttarakhand state All India Congress Committee (AICC), said that a long padayatra will be arranged in Uttarakhand and a draft of the march will be prepared today.
Devendra Yadav remarked on the restoration of Rahul Gandhi's Lok Sabha membership, "I would like to congratulate the public...Rahul Gandhi who has come out as the voice of the country, will get a chance to speak again in Parliament. No matter how much the truth is suppressed, it cannot be hidden. After all the truth has won."
The high-level meeting included all previous MPs, ministers, MLAs, current MLAs, AICC and PCC members, as well as state in-charge Devendra Yadav, former chief minister Harish Rawat, state president Karan Mahara, and Congress disciplinary committee chairman Navprabhat.
