Day after Amritpal appears on video, Waris Punjab De head's audio clip goes viral
PTC Web Desk: A day after Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh appeared on video, his audio clip went viral on Thursday. It comes at a time when the Punjab Police have deployed a drone to trace him and turned Hoshiarpur's village into a fortress after certain inputs. Sources said an alert had also been sounded in the border areas of Himachal Pradesh.
For the first time since March 18, when the police launched a massive crackdown against the Waris Punjab De head, Amritpal Singh on Wednesday released a video "calling upon the Sikh sangat to come together if they want to save Punjab". In the video, he said he is not in police custody. Amritpal claimed that he was absolutely fine and nothing could harm him.
He urged Sikh sangat to join the Sarbat Khalsa campaign if they wanted to save Punjab.
Meanwhile, after his video was released, people were speculating that the video might have been made under pressure and that he could be in custody. Amritpal looked fragile and weak and he was not looking into the camera.
Apparently, ending all speculations, another "audio" of the Waris Punjab De head was released on Thursday. In the audio, he denied that the video was got made under police custody. " I do not have habit of looking into the camera while making a video. My health is down. Please convey to Sikh Sangat that I am dong fine.... I have just called upon the Jathedar to call Sikh sangat. It is the time when quom should unite and give the proof of togetherness. I am neither afraid of the police nor arrest..."
