Punjab Weather: Punjab is likely to experience light to no rain for the next two days due to the slow progress of the Monsoon. This lack of rain is causing discomfort among the people.

Despite the delayed monsoon advancement, several parts in Punjab continue to receive light showers. The Meteorological Department has not issued any alerts, and no rain is expected for the next two days. As a result, humidity levels are expected to rise increasing the discomfort.

However, the rain is likely to start again on July 11. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Punjab has risen by 0.4 degrees over the last 24 hours. Pathankot had the highest temperature in Punjab on Monday evening, at 40 degrees Celsius. Other recorded temperatures were 38.2 degrees in Faridkot, 37 degrees in Bathinda, and 36 degrees in Gurdaspur.

In contrast, intermittent rain in the mountains is causing problems on the highways, with stones and debris falling in various places.
