Punjab reports 1,062 new COVID-19 cases; tally rises to 1,19,186

The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 1,19,186 after 1,062 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state on Monday. According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department, Ludhiana reported 156 new cases, while Jalandhar reported 98, Patiala 41, SAS Nagar 40, Amritsar 178, Bathinda 70, Gurdaspur 56, and Hoshiarpur 64. Likewise, Ferozepur recorded 47 new cases, Pathankot 46, Sangrur 12, Kapurthala 61, Faridkot 23, Muktsar 28, Fazilka 50, Moga 6, Ropar 8, Fatehgarh Sahib 9, Barnala 11, Tarn Taran 14, SBS Nagar 31, and Mansa 13.
