After a meeting between the Delhi Police and farmers yesterday, Delhi Police has given a nod to tractor parade on Republic Day January 26, 2021. Announcing the map of the parade, Dependra Pathak, Special CP, Intelligence, Delhi Police said, “The tractor rally will enter Delhi from Tikri, Singhu & Ghazipur borders & return to its originating points. From Singhu, it will pass through Kanjhawala, Bawana, Auchandi border, KMP Expressway & then return to Singhu.” Farmers' tractor rally: Buses to not ply from Anand Vihar ISBT for 12 hours on R-Day Adding, “From Tikri border, it will go to Nagloi & pass through Najafgarh & Western Peripheral Expressway. From Ghazipur border, the rally will go to 56-foot road & return to its originating point passing through Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal Expressway.” The tractor rally of farmers on Tuesday will begin amid tight security after Republic Day celebrations conclude. The Special Commissioner of Police (Intelligence) while briefing media on the issue said the police will provide ‘fail-proof’ security cover to the rally. Despite 11 rounds of meeting between the protesting farmers and the Centre, no conclusion has come out so far. No date has been fixed for the next meeting.
