Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Rhea Chakraborty, brother Showik's bail pleas in drugs case rejected
Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde said that "Once we get the order copy. We will decide next week on the course of action on approaching the High Court."
The bail application was moved by Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty. In a fresh plea filed by her lawyer Satish Maneshinde, the 28-year-old actress had claimed to be "innocent". The plea stated that she has not committed any crime and has been falsely implicated in the case.
As per the report, Rhea Chakraborty was charged under NDPS Act Sections 8(C), 20(b)(ii), 22, 27A, 28 and 29, for her alleged role in the drugs angle which has emerged in the investigations into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Earlier, Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer had said that she is ready for arrest. He was quoted by news agency ANI as saying: “Rhea Chakraborty is ready for arrest as it’s a witch-hunt. If loving someone is a crime, she’ll face the consequences of her love. Being innocent she hasn’t approached any court for an anticipatory bail in all cases foisted by Bihar Police with CBI, ED, and NCB.”
