India vs England tests : In a massive blow to Indian cricket team, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that India's batting talisman Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer has also been dropped from the squad for the remaining Tests as he suffered groin injury.
Earlier also Virat had missed the first two Tests. Now, his absence is extended to three more games. His last appearance came in the T20I series against Afghanistan earlier in January.
In an official statement, BCCI also stated that young batters Dhruv Jurel, Rajat Patidar, and Sarfaraz Khan have retained their spots in the squad for the remaining Tests.
The participation of batter KL Rahul and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is subject to their fitness. Mohammed Shami, who had missed the first two Tests due to injury, continues to sit out. Pacer Akash Deep has also been included in the squad.
The third Test will commence on February 15 in Rajkot while the fourth Test kickstarts in Ranchi on February 23 The fifth and final Test of the series will be played in Dharamsala from March 7.

Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma expecting second child?
Last week, Former South Africa captain AB de Villiers said that he checked on Virat Kohli after the Indian batsman withdrew from the first two Tests of the ongoing five-match series against England. AB de Villiers informed his fans and followers that Virat Kohli is doing well and has been spending time with his family and that Kohli and Anushka Sharma are expecting their second child.
AB de Villiers mentioned a text message exchange with Virat Kohli before confirming that the former India captain and his wife Anushka Sharma were expecting their second child.

"Let me just see what he said. I just want to at least give you (fans) a little bit of love," he stated. "So I wrote to him 'Been wanting to check in with you (sic) for a while now biscuits. How are you?' to which Kohli said, 'Just need to be with my family right now. I am doing well.'
