Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Shiromani Akali Dal candidate Ranjit Singh Gill contested from the Kharar constituency in the Punjab Assembly Elections 2022. He was a member of Block Samiti and also remained the sarpanch of the village. However, he lost the battle as he bagged only 40,388 votes.
