Team India player tests positive for coronavirus during break; find out who
India vs England Test Series 2021: Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has tested positive for the novel coronavirus during the 20-day break, a report stated on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant will not be travelling to Durham. Team India is scheduled to assemble in Durham before the upcoming 5-match India vs England Test series 2021.

As per the report, a BCCI source stated that it was Rishabh Pant who tested positive for coronavirus. Hence, he has been kept in isolation for the past eight days. Sources revealed that he has been asymptomatic at this point.

"He is in quarantine and won't be travelling with the team to Durham on Thursday," the sources said without giving further details about when will he join the squad.
Indian players were on a 2-week long break after the World Test Championship against New Zealand. India lost last month against New Zealand.
Earlier, the BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla had also confirmed that one out of 23 players has tested positive and has been kept in isolation.
Recently, he was seen attending a Euro 2020 match last month. He had also posted pictures on his social media accounts.
