Temperature hovers below normal at most places in Punjab, Haryana
In Haryana, Ambala recorded a high of 36.7 degrees Celsius, down one notch against normal while Karnal's maximum settled at 37 degrees Celsius, one notch below normal limits. Hisar had a hot day at 40.9 degrees Celsius.
In Punjab, Ludhiana and Patiala recorded maximum temperatures of 36.3 and 36.6 degrees Celsius, down one and two notches respectively.
