After the issuing of warrant, Jacob has moved to the Bombay High Court seeking interim protection from police action and the hearing will take place tomorrow in the matter.

Nikita Jacob is a Mumbai-based lawyer whose name has surfaced in the 'toolkit' case investigation.

According to the reports, a special cell team went to Nikita Jacob's house in Mumbai and examined her electronic gadgets, however, she was not present in the house at that time.

The reports added, the Delhi Police visited her residence again for questioning in the case but she was not available.

Nikita Jacob was contacted by pro-Khalistan leader and Poetic Foundation founder Mo Dhaliwal via his colleague Puneet. The motive was to create a storm ahead of Republic Day, as per the reports.

There was a zoom meeting before Republic Day which was attended by Mo Dhaliwal, Nikita Jacob, Disha Ravi and others, said the reports.

This has come a day after 21-year-old activist Disha Ravi was remanded to five-day police custody in Delhi. She was arrested on Saturday for her alleged involvement in sharing the 'toolkit' related to the farmers' protest on social media.

Delhi Police had tweeted, "Disha Ravi is an editor of the Toolkit Google Doc and a key conspirator in document's formulation and dissemination. She started a WhatsApp group and collaborated to make the Toolkit doc. She worked closely with them to draft the Doc,"
