PTC News Desk: A tragic incident took place  on Chandigarh Road in Ludhiana, Punjab, on Tuesday morning as a tipper collided with a woman riding a scooter, leaving her injured on the road, drenched in blood. The impact of the tipper's tires caused severe injuries to her hands, legs, and thighs. The victim, identified as Kirti Arora, had been married for only four months.

Eyewitnesses reported that the tipper was speeding at the time of the accident, and the driver fled the scene. Kirti, who has been teaching at Presidency School for a year, was rushed to CMC Hospital after bystanders alerted authorities about the incident. She primarily teaches junior classes and sustained severe injuries, including the separation of her thumb, which requires extensive treatment.


Kirti's husband, Bhuvan Arora, revealed that she was on her daily commute to school when the collision occurred at Vardhaman Chowk. Her family members shared that doctors indicated the severity of her injuries, with the thumb being separated and extensive damage to her limbs. While her condition is currently stable, her treatment is expected to be prolonged due to the seriousness of her injuries.

Authorities have initiated efforts to apprehend the tipper driver, with plans to file a complaint at police station division number 7. The tipper involved in the accident has been impounded, and CCTV footage is under review to identify the perpetrator.

Sub Inspector Avtar Singh from Police Station Division No. 7 confirmed the severity of the incident, stating that the woman's blood and flesh were found beneath the tipper. Despite the driver's absence, authorities remain determined to locate and apprehend them. This incident follows a recent surge in accidents involving tippers in the area, including fatal collisions that have sparked public outcry and demands for swift justice.
