Nepal flash floods viral video: The devastating flash floods in Nepal have left behind scenes of destruction that have shocked people around the world. Videos shared online show homes being swept away, vehicles carried by powerful currents and entire stretches of infrastructure disappearing under floodwaters within minutes.

But amid those frightening images, one house has become a symbol of hope on social media.

A green-painted house surrounded by fast-moving, muddy floodwaters has gone viral after videos showed what appeared to be a family trapped inside as the flood struck.

Green house survives as buildings around it collapse

In the first video widely circulated online, floodwaters can be seen rushing through the area with enormous force. Debris is carried along by the current, while structures close to the green house appear to be damaged or swept away. The house, however, remained standing.

A later video reportedly showing the same building has added to the attention surrounding the incident. Despite being surrounded by powerful floodwaters, the green house could still be seen standing amid the destruction.

The footage quickly raised concern for the people believed to be inside.

Social media users worried about family

As the first video spread, many viewers expressed concern about the family's safety. People watching the terrifying scenes flooded social media with messages hoping that those inside the house had managed to survive.

The apparent strength of the building also became a major talking point.

Many users were stunned that the structure appeared to withstand the flood while nearby buildings suffered extensive damage.

Later video brings relief

The situation took a more hopeful turn after another social media user shared a subsequent video that reportedly showed the family had survived the disaster. The videos have since attracted millions of views, with users expressing a mixture of shock, relief and admiration.

One social media user wondered what the family must have been thinking as they watched the floodwaters rise around them, while another suggested that the people who survived should be interviewed to understand what happened inside the house during those terrifying moments.

Others praised the construction of the building, with comments describing it as an example of the importance of strong construction and thanking whoever built the house.
