US Election Results 2020: Joe Biden breaks record with most votes won by any presidential candidate
US election result 2020: Former Vice President and current US Presidential candidate Joe Biden on Wednesday surpassed Barack Obama as he broke record for most votes won by any presidential nominee in the entire history of United States.
By 2:30 p.m. ET, Joe Biden had received 70.8 million votes, according to the US election result 2020 compiled by the Decision Desk HQ. Biden surpassed Barack Obama's record in 2008, when he had received 69,456,897 votes.

Reportedly, Biden's vote tally marks half of the votes counted in the race so far, ahead of Donald Trump's 48 percent. However, the numbers are expected only to grow as the ballots are still being counted in states like Michigan and Arizona.
The US Election result 2020 remain unknown as neither Joe Biden or Donald Trump has reached the 270 electoral votes needed for a victory.

According to the pollsters' prediction, Biden would secure more votes than Donald Trump. The Democratic nominee is on a track to win the popular vote as he already leads the president by around 3 million votes.
Meanwhile, this could be the second time that Trump loses the popular vote. Earlier, Hillary Clinton had overtook him by nearly 3 million votes.
As of Wednesday, Trump picked up around 68 million votes, beating his 2016 haul, when he had bagged 62,980,160 votes.
