The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) will be unveiling a stand after Indian Skipper Virat Kohli at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, on Thursday. The entire team will be present during the unveiling ceremony which will take place at the Weightlifting Auditorium of the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The DDCA functionary stated that the boys will be there when the stand will be unveiled after Kohli’s name. The team is all set to face South Africa in their first match of T20 series at Dharamsala on Sunday.

The three-match T20 series, will begin from Dharamsala, after the second T20 match will played in Punjab only, i.e. Mohali on September 18. The final game of the T20 series will be played at the home-ground of Virat Kohli in Indian Premier League, i.e. M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on September 22.
The Porteas are in India only and looking forward the fresh start following the disappointment of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Also, South Africa has named Quinton De Kock as the skipper for the T20 series in place of Faf du Plessis. Meanwhile, Kagiso Rabada is all set in a mood to bowl on Indian pitches, as he showes his excitement and tweeted, “Excited to be back in India and looking forward to playing cricket again”.
It is pertinent to mention that the BCCI have rested the senior players which include Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya is back after being rested of the West Indies tour. After the T20 series, South Africa will begin their campaign in in the World Test Championship, against the one who are on the top of the points table. The first Test is in Visakhapatnam (October 2-6), the second one in Pune (October 10-14) and the third one in Ranchi (October 19-23).
