“I liked him (Rajput) a lot. It is unfortunate that he passed away. In his memory, I have made this statue for my museum. However, if Sushant’s family requests for his statue, I will make a new one,” Susanta Ray was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
“Big day for us…Today, we are inaugurating the wax statue of Sushant Singh Rajput in our Museum at Asansol,” Ray posted on his official page while sharing a video of the unveiling ceremony.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s statue stands next to a chair as one hand rests on it. The visitors can sit on the chair to get some pictures or selfies with the statue.
The photos of Sushant Singh Rajput’s wax statue have gone viral on social media in no time.
Responding to the great work by Susanta Ray, a social media user said, “Great work Sir. So close to reality.” Another wrote, “This is really Awesome.” Yet another added, “Awesome beautiful sir. Many many thanks for giving such a great gift. Sushant Singh Rajput once again became alive among us with your hand.”
