Elon Musk offers journalists opportunity to increase earnings on X platform
World News: Elon Musk, the entrepreneur behind various groundbreaking ventures, is extending an invitation to journalists to publish directly on X, formerly known as Twitter—the micro-blogging platform he acquired last year. He promises not only a higher income but also greater writing freedom to those who choose to utilize X for direct publication.
In a recent post, Musk expressed, "If you're a journalist who seeks increased writing freedom and greater earnings, consider publishing directly on this platform."

Previously, Elon Musk had discussed his intention to enable media publishers on the platform to charge users for accessing their articles.
According to Musk's envisioned model, users would be charged on a "per article basis," potentially paying more if they opt out of a monthly subscription plan.
Nonetheless, these proposed adjustments to X's policy are yet to be realised and implemented.
In the midst of these developments, X is currently entangled in a copyright case in France, initiated by the AFP news agency. This legal situation coincides with growing demands from media groups for a share of profits generated from social media content. AFP has initiated the case with the goal of compelling X to provide data that would facilitate the estimation of a fair compensation level.
