Chandigarh, October 16: Punjab cabinet minister Baljit Kaur's convoy allegedly rammed a speeding car into a scooty, seriously injuring two people, said social activist Manik Goyal on Twitter. Goyal, in a series of tweets, explained the incident, claiming that Kaur "left without helping them." According to the social activist, the incident took place at sector 26-27 traffic lights in Chandigarh at around 11 pm on Saturday. The Minister's escort hit a girl and boy who were on Activa scooty and waiting on Lights. "AAP Minister @DrBaljitAAP's escort hits a girl & boy at sector 26-27 traffic lights. Both of them are in sec 32 Hospital. One guy Mr Narula is at hospital alone, Doctors are even not starting the treatment. Baljit Kaur doesn’t even care to come & left shamelessly," Goyal tweeted.

According to sources, the Minister was on her way to a wedding event when the accident took place. As per the information shared by the social activist, the duo on the Activa were seriously injured in the accident, while doctors did not start treatment for at least two hours. He also alleged that the Minister did not "even care to come" and is "lying to media that her escort took them to the hospital." Also Read |

He said both were on Activa scooty & waiting on Lights. When they drove the scooty after the green light, escort gypsy of the convoy of Minister Baljit Kaur hit him hard from behind on Lights.
