As the government of India banned 59 Chinese apps including TikTok, several TikTokers are worried. Meanwhile, the prominent personalities of the Punjabi industry have come forward and urged their fans to not be "depressed" or "stressed". The 5-year-old Punjabi star, Noorpreet, also requested her followers to follow her on Instagram now as TikTok has been banned by the Government of India. Meanwhile, TikTok responded to the ban and said "We have been invited to meet with concerned government stakeholders for an opportunity to respond and submit clarification."
