Air Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria appointed next Air Force Chief

Air Vice Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria has been appointed as the next Chief of the Air Staff. He took charge as Chief of the Indian Air Force following the retirement of Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa on September 30. Earlier today, Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa paid tributes at the National War Memorial ahead of his retirement.

Speaking to news agency ANI on Rafael aircraft, Chief of Air Staff Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria said, "Rafael combat aircraft will give India an edge over Pakistan and China. Rafael is a very capable aircraft. It will be a game changer in our operational capability."

He paid tributes at the National War Memorial after taking charge as IAF Chief.

Prior to this, he served as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of Training Command. He has a flying experience of over 4,250 hours and is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla.
