He said air pollution not only affects people in the national capital but in these states as well. "We are taking all the necessary measures," he added. Meanwhile, Dr VK Soni, Head, Environment and Research Centre, IMD, said that "Presently Delhi's Air Quality is very poor and is expected to go worse to severe tomorrow." "It can be worse if there are additional emissions. AQI will improve after Diwali and there are chances of drizzle and rain on November 15," he added. Delhi on Thursday reported 7,053 new COVID-19 cases, 6,462 recoveries and 104 deaths. Likewise, the total number of coronavirus cases in Delhi increased to 4,67,028 including 4,16,580 recoveries, 43,116 active cases and 7,332 deaths. -PTC News
